This course will provide an overview of Consumer Driven Healthcare Plans (CDHPs) and will detail the various types of plans that are offered. After completing this course, the learner will understand:

• How CDHPs function at the organization.
• How national legislation affects CDHPs.
• The four different types of CDHPs and how each is used.

Course Topics

T1. Overview of CDHPs: This topic will define CDHPs for the learner and will familiarize him/her with CDHP coverage and how the organization makes these plans available.

T2. Types of CDHPs: This topic will familiarize the learner with the four types of CDHPs that are available to consumers and the specific details of each.

T3. CDHPs and the Organization: This topic will focus on how individuals and businesses benefit from CDHPs and the ways in which the organization reports CDHP enrollment.

T4. Health Care Legislation: This topic will familiarize the learner with changes to legislation that have affected CDHPs and the specific requirements that such changes institute.
