This course will discuss how to communicate and plan meetings concerned with the project management process. The learner will examine how to present information using clear and precise language. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:
- Concisely and efficiently present organized information.
- Use various types of meetings and communications for different purposes.
- Plan meetings and address meeting disruptors.
Course Topics
T1. Communicating the Needs of Stakeholders: This topic will describe the need for stakeholders and customers to communicate their needs to the Project Manager, and will address free flow and continuous processes.
T2. Types of Meetings and Communication: This topic will list and describe the various types of meetings and communications, each with their various purposes, considerations, and uses.
T3. Plan the Meeting: This topic will discuss how to maintain a meeting's focus, structure, target, and purpose by planning, focusing, and delegating roles and responsibilities.
T4. Meeting Disrupters: This topic will identify different sources of disruptions, including idea killers, chronic objectors, ramblers, and more, and how to solve disruptions.
