This course will give an overview of the types of robberies that can occur within a financial institution and preventative measures that financial institutions and their employees should take in the event of a robbery. Additionally the learner will gain the skill to observe his or her surroundings and be able to put financial institution security measures into effect. Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to understand:

- Preventative measures and procedures.
- The importance of the Access Control Unit.
T1. Types of Robberies: This topic discusses the different types of robbers and robbery techniques that an employee might encounter at a financial institution.
T2. Robbery Prevention: This topic discusses and defines the various security procedures and devices used to prevent robberies at financial institutions.
T3. Making Robbery Observations: This topic discusses the different characteristics of a robber an employee should take note of when confronted by a robber at his/her financial institution.
T4. Robbery Procedures: This topic discusses the different steps that an employee should take when confronted by a robber at his/her financial institution.
T5. Access Control Unit: This topic defines the different elements of an Access Control Unit which provides protection in robbery situations.
