This course will examine the various resources available to project managers. This course will also briefly look at estimating project costs. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:
- Identify resources available to a project team.
- Use different steps toward estimating and analyzing cost.
- Identify alternatives for cost and resource problems.
Course Topics
T1. Resources: This topic will address the types of resources available to any project team, including people, technology, and space, among others.
T2. Estimating Cost: This topic will define cost estimating and its use in project management, including information on individual steps, cost components, and over-analyzing.
T3. Cost and Benefit Analysis: This topic will ensure understanding of the need for alternatives for most cost or resource problems, and will address benefit, cost, risk, and the necessity for objectivity.
