This course will address correspondence and reporting needs and requirements with project management. This course will also address unprofessional behavior and other actions to avoid. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:
- Act professionally in correspondence and other means of communication.
- Use one of four types of reporting in any type of correspondence.
T1. Determining Reporting Needs: This topic will examine reporting requirements and reporting systems used to increase the efficiency of reporting by addressing reporting needs.
T2. Goals of Correspondence: This topic will address the goals of correspondence, such as documenting an event or understanding, soliciting or providing information, building relationships, and others.
T3. Things to Avoid: This topic will address unprofessional behavior and other things to avoid in correspondence, such as a demeaning tone, a condescending tone, a joking tone, and more.
T4. Types of Reporting: This topic will provide an overview of the four types of reporting, status, cumulative, exception, and event, and will explain different facets of reporting.
