This course will introduce the learner to the history of banking around the world, accompanied by an instructional video to bolster the learner’s understanding of eachconcept. Additionally, the course will educate the learner on how a bank’ experience, size, and future outlook help determine the learner’s role in the bank. After completing this program, the learner will understand:
- The general ways in which a bank makes money.
- Information on the layout of the interior of the bank, with details on the teller and platform areas, ATMs, vault services, and more.
- The vision and value of banks.

T1. Welcome: This topic will provide the learner with an overview of the banking process, including a brief look at the benefits of working at a financial institution.
T2. History of Banking: This topic will educate the learner on the history of banking around the world through the use of an instructional video.
T3. Flow of Money: This topic will instruct the learner on the general ways in which a financial institution makes money, such as through lending and investments.
T4. Branch Team Members: This topic will detail the many and varied positions at each branch, such as the teller, head teller, cash vault manager, etc. and each of their responsibilities.
T5. Branch Information: This topic provides information on the layout of the interior of a financial institution, with details on the teller and platform areas, ATMs, vault services, and more.
T6. History of Your Financial Institution: This topic will provide a brief overview of the three facets of a financial institution that branch managers should be familiar with: experience, size, and future outlook.
T7. Vision and Values: This topic will familiarize the learner with the importance of having a defined vision and values for the financial institution, which can include honesty and integrity, customer appreciation, and a commitment to the community.
