This course will provide the learner with an introduction to Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) and the ways in which they function. After completing this course, the learner will understand:

• How HRA contributions work.
• How HRA distributions are made.
• What the advantages of HRAs are for individuals and employees.

Course Topics

T1. Introduction to HRAs: This topic will define Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) for the learner and will explain the advantages and limitations of HRAs for individuals and employers.

T2. HRA Contributions: This topic will familiarize the learner with HRA contributions and the ways in which HRAs work with FSAs and their limitations.

T3. HRA Disbursements: This topic will familiarize the learner with HRA distribution policy and how qualified medical expenses are determined.
