This course will afford the learner a discussion of management skills and responsibilities. This course will also examine action planning and SWOT analysis. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:
Use principles of strategic management to successfully implement change.
Recognize and align goals to foster collaboration and achieve consensus.
Assess the market, competition, and bank by looking at certain characteristics. 

Course Topics:

T1 - The Strategic Vision - This topic will introduce the learner to management skills through the use of strategic vision, which consists of using the VISION model to express and achieve a manager’s vision.

T2 - Vision and Values - This topic will familiarize the learner with the importance of having a defined vision and values for the financial institution, which can include honesty and integrity, customer appreciation, and a commitment to the community.

T3 - Action Planning - This topic will familiarize the learner with the 5 steps of the Pathway to Action and the common pathways that can be used to solve workplace problems.

T4 - SWOT Analysis - This topic will familiarize the learner with the process by which managers should assess the market, competition, and the financial institution, by looking at characteristics such as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

T5 - Achieving Consensus - This topic will acquaint the learner with achieving consensus, including how to understand motivations, recognize goals, foster collaboration, and more.

T6 - Strategic Management - This topic will familiarize the learner with the principles of strategic management, such as developing shared direction, developing an overall strategic business design, and successfully implementing changes.
