Course Description

This course will introduce the learner to the different components of a mortgage. The course will also familiarize the learner with the various types of loans, including fixed rate, adjustable rate, balloon, and equity mortgages. After completing this program, the learner will have a strong understanding of the following:

• Individual applications.
• Joint applications.
• Third-party pledger applications.

Course Topics

T1. Mortgage Lending: This topic will introduce the learner to the different components of a mortgage, included in which are property, borrower, lender, and principal.

T2. Mortgage Loans: This topic will familiarize the learner with the various types of loans, including fixed rate, adjustable rate, balloon, and equity mortgages.

T3. Applications: This course will describe to the learner the different types of mortgage applications that are available, including individual, joint, co-signer, and third-party pledger applications.
